The 2009 Rainbow Gatherings are closer than you think. We are creating  
the 2009 Rainbow Guide and it's time to start finalizing entries. We  
need your addresses, artwork, poems, photos, general comments, and  
financial contributions. Please feel free to pass this information  
along to other family in your region.

All entries into the 2009 Rainbow Guide need to be sent in prior to  
May 1, 2009 to allow time to process those entries so that the  
publication can be sent to the printers. Copies will be available in  
late June and early July - Please visit the Welcome Home when  
attending the gatherings and ask if any copies are available.

The Rainbow Guide is a freely printed, non-commercial directory of  
Rainbow friends, tribes, communities, individuals and peaceful co-ops  
world over and serves to help keep us connected throughout the year.  
The Guide is compiled and published annually by volunteers with your  
contributions of profiles, heartsongs, photos, art and whatever you  
would like to add to the energy.

Funding the Rainbow Guide is a continuous, ongoing process. I am sure  
we can all sympathize with putting together a project that costs  
thousands of dollars for a group that never charges for anything.

Historically, the Guide has come up short on printing and shipping  
costs and has left the Focalizers, that have already donated a  
tremendous amount of time and effort, "holding the bag" or Guides left  
sitting unshipped. Please Family, make supporting the Rainbow Guide a  
priority, as we desire to create a publication and website of which we  
can be proud. The funds that we generate set the range for the  
resources that we can use. Give early, as the time we spend trying to  
find financing takes away from creative efforts we could use for  
making the Guide.
