1. Short Rainbow news.

In several places in the world, Rainbow Gatherings and smaller events
are being organised. The Rainbow Family is really coming alive again.
The location for the European Rainbow Gathering is clear now - in
Transcarpatia, in the extreme western part of Ukraine. It about 100
km. from Uzhgorod as well as the Polish, Slovak, Hungarian and
Romanian borders.

You can find directions to several Rainbow Gatherings at this website:

It is a secured website, which cannot be checked by search engines,
spam robots, etc. That's why also info about locations can be found
there. If you want to enter that website, you need to create a user
name and password.

In the next issue of CircleLetter, I will work out international
Rainbow news in a bit more detail.


2. Mid summer vision circle in The Netherlands.

* the Rainbow Families in Belgium, Luxembourg and The Netherlands

* other interested sisters and brothers.

Invitation for a Midsummer vision circle, 18-22 June 09 (NOT in the
weekend of 14 June), on, amongst others:

* 'scouting' of areas suitable for Rainbow Gatherings in the 3 Benelux
countries (B, L, NL.)

* Rainbow Gatherings in the 3 Benelux countries in 2009, 2010 and later;

* invitation for a European Gathering in one of the three Benelux
countries in 2010 or 2011??

Dear sisters and brothers

We would like to reflect on, amongst others, the three above mentioned
issues, in a vision circle around Midsummer. From Thursday evening 18
June 09 onwards, everybody is welcome in and around the small farm of
Faidra and some others, in Elst, between Arnhem and Nijmegen, in The
Netherlands. We promote the idea to combine the positive forces in the
Rainbow families in Belgium, Luxembourg and The Netherlands for three
closely interrelated goals: scouting of suitable areas, Benelux
Gatherings and, perhaps, a European Gathering.

Imagination is perfectly OK if we combine it with practical action.
That's why, we for sure would like to reflect in the vision circle on
Rainbow Gatherings in the three Benelux countries. Additionally, we
would like to reflect on the following question: do we have the
courage to invite the Rainbow Families elsewhere for a European
Gathering in 2010 or 2011? If we do manage at some moment to find a
consensus on such an invitation, we need to announce it in the 'Vision
Council' of some European Gathering that will take place one year
earlier. However it may be, in our opinion our three Benelux countries
together do have enough possibilities to host a European Gathering.

We have a question. Who is able and willing to bring us into touch
with sisters and brothers from the Rainbow Family in Luxembourg?

We finish this letter with a few organisational remarks. You are most
welcome to join us from Thursday evening 18 June 09 onwards. (KIN 226-
5 Worldbridger). On Thursday evening and Friday, we prepare the small
circle gathering from practical point of view. From Saturday morning
till Sunday evening, we will have the circle – combined with moments
of relaxation and music. The place where we will come together, is a
small squatted farm where Faidra and a few others live in harmony with
the owner and other inhabitants of the region. The place is perfectly
suitable for a small circle gathering during 3 or 4 days – but it is
not suitable for a fully equipped Rainbow Gathering. We can come there
together and sit there around a burning fire pit. We even are able
there to inspire one another, to make music, to have some midsummer
ritual and to swim in the lake close to the little farm. But please –
do not expect a jungle where Mowgli and Baghera would feel at home
:-).... The region where the location is, is quite busy.
