Open Counsels

The rainbow family of living light is said to be made up of many tribes and families and people from all walks of life coming together as one human family gathering together on the land. Rainbow gathering are different for every one. You may find people actively creating positive community with one another, learning and teaching ways we can live in harmony with nature, our mother earth, and each other and celebrating life together.

Rainbow "counsels" are nothing more than ad hoc discussion circles, NOT elected legislative bodies that can decide anything for anyone who isn't participating directly. Agreement with concensi is ever and all-ways optional, NEVER mandatory. You have a mind of my own, and no one may dictate to your reason... There is NO WAY that all who gather can ever "duly appoint" anyone to any official position.

 In short, a consensus process is people being reasonable, not a governmental function telling people what to do.

If you would like to get involved at the next gathering, come to Dinner Circle every evening. There are various counsel discussions in the middle of the Prayer Meadow after the evening meal. Anyone is allowed to observe and speak in any counsel circle, just like in any other Rainbow circle. (Whether anyone will listen also depends on what and how you say it, just like at any other Rainbow circle.)

You may also want to visit Info at the Front Gate -  11:ish in the morning are the kitchen and supply counsels and there should be additional counsel circles posted. Feel free to add your energy to the flow.
